What it does

Everything in G3NZ Captions

6 reasons

  1. 01

    Subtitles to captions

Point it at a subtitle track and it builds one editable, animated Text+ caption per cue.

  2. 02

    40 presets, previewed

Every preset loops a three-second preview in the picker, with previous, next, pause and replay, so you see it before you commit.

  3. 03

    Line control

Set the maximum characters per line, one or two lines, and the gap between subtitles in frames.

  4. 04

    Word-safe wrapping

Long cues wrap at word boundaries and page within their own timing. Words are never split in half.

  5. 05

    Nothing else moves

Captions go into their own timeline, nested on a new top track. Your original subtitles stay where they were.

  6. 06

    Plenty of styles

Word and line entrances from eight directions, blur, tracking, bounce, shine, glitch and RGB, wide glow, prism and gold surfaces, and floating transitions.

How it works

From install to done

  1. 01

    Install

Close Resolve, extract the zip and run install.ps1 with PowerShell. No admin rights needed.

  2. 02

    Open

Restart Resolve, open a timeline with a subtitle track, then Workspace › Scripts › Edit › G3NZ Captions.

  3. 03

    Choose

Pick the subtitle track and a preset, then set maximum characters, lines and gap.

  4. 04

    Create

Click Create. Your captions appear on a new top track; hide the source subtitles if they double up.
